TXTNG KILLS

For the last week I’ve been wearing this thumb band and today I signed 101.5 The View’s “TXTNG KILLS” Pledge. I’ve heard stories in the news, bits and pieces here and there about the dangers of texting while driving, but didn’t know the cold hard facts behind how dangerous texting can be when you’re behind the wheel.

101.5 The View is attempting to raise awareness and help save lives by issuing nearly 8,000 “TXTNG KILLS” thumb bands to area residents, because we all live and raise our families here..and we are all affected. It’s a simple message on a small silicone band with a purpose of sending a clear message: “Texting While Driving Can Cost You Your Life”

You can also do as I did and sign the “Texting Kills Pledge” in the coming weeks. We’ll be hitting the streets soon with thumb bands and the pledge for you to join me in this commitment.
